Jan Marini Clean Zyme and Skin Zyme Review #PolishandPerfect

Welcome back!

If you guys haven’t heard by now, Jan Marini Skin Research (JMSR), was founded in 1994 and has teamed up with the world’s leading physicians and scientists to create cutting edge skin treatments for common skin concerns. I am back with a review of their polish and perfect duo that will exfoliate and resurface your skin without harming or irritating the skin. I’ve been given the opportunity to try their cleansing and exfoliating duo called Clean Zyme & Skin Zyme. I wanted to give you guys a thorough review so I tested this product for a full month. If I am going to have any negative results that is how long it takes to show.

Clean Zyme & Skin Zyme are meant to be used together for normal, dry, oily, combination, or acne prone skin. The retail price is $90 USD. You can purchase them separately.

Both are formulated with a proteolytic enzyme- papain from green unripened papaya. This ingredient helps to exfoliate and remove dead skin cells without any abrasives or rubbing.

Clean Zyme is a cleanser that can be used everyday. It has a gel like appearance with an amazing fresh mild scent. The texture is silky smooth and does not get soapy as you massage (a good sign for sensitive skin). This cleanser stays on for 1-2 minutes and I use a wash cloth to wipe off. Clean Zyme retails for $30 USD.

The first time I used it, I felt a mild tingle. After the second use, I feel absolutely nothing. Since the texture is on the heavy side, you will definitely need that wash cloth to remove it. I was shocked at the amount of dirt and makeup Clean Zyme removed because honestly, it didn’t feel like it was doing much.

Skin Zyme is a crazy color green to match it’s unripened papaya ingredient. There is no scent that I can detect. The texture is thick and like creamy silk. It’s one of the most luxurious products I’ve used on my skin. Only a thin even layer is needed so this 2 ounces will last a long time. Skin Zyme retails for $60 USD.

There is a mild tingle that feels nice. The directions say to keep it on for 20 minutes and I recommend following those directions. To remove I just take a small amount of Clean Zyme and massage through to emulsify then gently wipe away with my wash cloth. I had instantly smoother and brighter skin immediaty.

I’ve been using this duo for 3 weeks. I use Clean Zyme everyday in place of my regular cleanser. I use Skin Zyme twice a week. You can use both everyday if you prefer. After a month of using both products consistently, I also noticed a considerable diminishing of my scars/fine lines and my usual redness is gone. My skin tone is more even than it’s ever been and that is enough for me to continue using both products. I’ve never had a product take away redness totally.

Together we decided to create this blog to share our opinions and promote discussions.
