Beauty Stones Green Tea Facial Mask Review

When a company named Beauty Stones, with the mantra Unearth Your Inner Beauty, contacted me to try their Green Tea Facial Mask, I was stoked to say the least. I did some research and I liked the company’s vibe and the mask seemed to be a product I needed.

Beauty Stones sent me 2 Green Tea Facial Masks from their Jade Series- Anti Acne line. The mask had a protective sheet and I could see the importance of this when I realized how paper-thin the mask was. The directions say to thoroughly clean and dry the face, adjust over eyes, nose, and mouth to get a smooth fit. Relax for 15-20 minutes to allow the serum to be absorbed. Remove the mask and massage remaining serum until completely absorbed or rinse and pat dry. You can also apply a moisturizer to lock in the treatment, but it’s not required. In addition to Beauty Stone’s Green Tea Facial mask, all products are made cruelty-free and without parabens. Here is the Green Tea Facial Mask description from Beauty Stones’ website:

Perfect for all skin types

Made with all natural ingredients

Natural fiber sheet allows ingredients to better absorb into the skin

Green tea extract combats acne and unwanted blemishes

Hyaluronic acid replenishes the moisture your skin lost

Antioxidants reach deep into pores to reinvigorates, soothes, and conditions tired, irritated skin

Evens the skin tone and reduce inflammation for a healthy glow

My Experience: I was having a mild breakout with 3 inflammed blemishes on my face so this mask arrived right on time. I opened the package and smelled fresh tea leaves, a good sign that ingredients where natural and fresh. It smelled mild and clean which I found to be relaxing. There was a protective plastic sheet on the mask making it much easier to unfold. The mask is so thin that I imagine it would be impossible to unfold otherwise. Since the sheet is made with natural fibers for better absorption, I can’t really knock them for it but it was a little difficult to adjust. The eyes were too small so I just pulled a little to widen the area, which was easy because the mask was so thin. I accidentally ripped it around the nose while applying. The mask felt cooling and relaxing while on and the thin sheet nearly dried by the time 20 minutes had passed. I was  really very surprised that the serum absorbed into my face so well. There was no stickiness or tackiness, yet moisturized enough so that I didn’t have to use additional products. As soon as I removed the mask, I noticed the redness around the blemishes had disappeared. The blemishes where there but not as nearly as noticeable. Also, my skin felt baby soft. The next morning the blemishes had decreased by half, not too bad for one night. I’m saving my second mask for an emergency and then I will have to re-stock. I Fully recommend this for any skin type, especially problematic or acne prone.

Ingredient List

Natural Fiber Sheet Mask
Immediately Before Mask (Note the redness)
Immediately After Mask

As you can see in the above before and after pictures the inflammation seemed to calm a bit and the blemsishes are already starting to look better immediately after I removed the mask.
