RevivHair Placode Booster Serum Review & GIVEAWAY

It’s no secret that I have fine hair that is thinning with age. I have tried multiple products to boost hair growth with no visible results. When the opportunity came to try RevivHair Placode Booster Serum, I was excited to see if this would help my hair.

RevivHair Placode Booster Serum is made with breakthrough peptide technology to densify, strengthen, prevent, thicken, and revitalize hair. When the package arrived, I was shocked but knew that medical-type packaging was something I would be completely comfortable with.  There was 5 vials each containing 6mls. of a thick syrup-like consistency fluid. 1 ml. is required per dose per day so that means you get 6 doses from each vial to total 30 doses/1 per day.

RevivHair Placode RevivHair Placode Booster Serum

This remarkable leave-in booster serum is the perfect addition to the RevivHair(tm) product line in the battle against hair loss and a problem scalp. Targeted at reducing hair loss and encouraging new hair growth, it helps boost the development of healthy hair follicles, lessen thinning hair, strengthen fibers against breakage, and thicken existing hair strands for fuller-looking and thicker-feeling hair.

Check out this short video about RevivHair Placode Serum Booster:

Here are some statistics from a study performed on consumers using Placode Booster Serum:

In a 60-day, 23-person consumer study of Placode Booster Serum, 87% of consumers tested noted a reduction in the appearance of falling hair, 92% agreed that their hair appeared thicker or healthier; 74% of testers also saw a reduction in the appearance of thinning scalp areas; 92% said their hair appeared fuller or more supple.

The directions are as follows:

1. Snap off and discard the top of the vial.

2. Temporarily remove the rubber stopper.

3. Using the provided syringe applicator, draw 1 ml.

4. Apply 1 ml directly to scalp. Focus specifically on the most affected areas. Can be applied to either damp or dry scalp. Do not rinse out.

5. Massage the scalp with your fingertips, or use a dermaroller, to distribute the treatment. Optimal regimen: use a light pass of a demaroller both before, and after, application of the booster serum.

6. Return the stopper to the vial for subsequent use. Vial is good for 6 days of application.

7. Style hair as usual.

RevivHair Placode Booster Serum

My Experience: I followed all directions as stated and used Placode Booster Serum for the full 30 days. It was simple to draw up 1 ml from the vial. The hard part was deciding what areas to treat. I have noticeably thinning hair dispersed throughout my entire head. I decided to focus across the front of my hairline, my center part, and the crown of my head. I know 1 ml sounds small, but I was able to cover all the areas I wanted. I preferred to do this with damp hair and at night. On dry hair, it was just too heavy and weighed my hair down. With damp hair I had no change in texture and no greasy appearance. Most likely it was due to the weight of the product on my thin hair. I tried my hardest to keep it just on the scalp and to massage it really well. For the first few days I did feel a mild tingling sensation but that stopped after the first week. I had no noticeable difference until end of the second week. My hair started to feel thicker and I had very little fall out (much less than normal). In the third week I noticed some small patches of new hair growth, at first I thought my hair broke off but after looking at previous photos, it’s definitely small hair growth. I started to get comments and questions at work about what I did differently with my hair. My hairline looks a lot fuller than it was and my husband agrees.

Review: Placode Booster Serum is easy to use with the syringe provided. There is no scent, stickiness, or greasy feeling. In my opinion and with my hair-type, it works best on damp hair. If you consistently use it, it does work. My hair is stronger, more supple, and has made my hairline fuller. I would love to see more improvement and I would like to continue treatment. So far, I am extremely happy with the results of Placode Booster Serum. I fully recommend Placode Booster Serum to anyone who has hair loss or thinning hair. Take a look at my before and after photos so you can see the difference in my hairline.

  1. Great post! I’ve been using Rogaine for sixteen years. I would love to find an alternative. Is what you got a 30 day supply? Is this something that you have to continue using? Your pictures show some real results. Rogaine dries the heck out of my hair. Menopause has really taken a toll on my hair. Thanks!

    1. Yes, it’s a 30 day supply but you have to be diligent and you start off with Intensive treatment (once a day for 30 days) then maintenance is 2-3 times per week. You can do intensive treatment 2-4 times a year. I like it so much better than Rogaine, it dries my hair and irritates my scalp. I have genetically thinning hair so I would guess if your’s is just menopausal, you should have good results. It’s $44 for a 30 day supply.

      1. I just started microneedling on my face, specifically on my forehead. I have a scar, well dent actually on my forehead from opening my car door on it. It happened two years ago. It looks like a divot. Plus I have scars from chicken pox. How long and often did you use it on your face before you saw any results? Thanks!

      2. I have scars on my face from trauma so they vary in length and depth. I did it twice a week and the next morning I could tell that my face was smoother. It took about a month for me to notice the scars changing and getting less noticeable.

      3. That’s great! What length of needle did you use? I have the .5mm I believe. The needles are very short. I don’t press too hard, as it kind of hurts. I’ve seen Youtube videos where women are bleeding. I’m 57, and my skin has gotten thinner. Thanks menopause! I wear bangs so you really can’t see my scars, but they bug me none the less. I have a large forehead, so I need those bangs. Do you have any good serums, etc. you can recommend when doing the micro needling? Thanks so much.

      4. I used 1 inch on my face and .25 very carefully on my eyelid (I have a big scar in the center) I got great results on the eyelid. My scars are from trauma and are deeper than an acne scars so I was a little more aggressive. You can also use serums while micro needling too.

      5. I checked out the website. Does the micro needling work for saggy eyelids? It appears it does on this website. Gravity is killing my eye area. I had a Botox eyelift a few years ago, but it only last for 3 months. And it set me back $600! Totally not worth it.

  2. This looks like Serious Stuff! (with capital S!)
What’s so awesome you had good results with this! I’ve been taking biotin to help with hair and nails. With the changing weather my hair is falling out like crazy.

    1. Thanks! I did have good results but I really didn’t notice it until the 25th day. You really have to be diligent with application. I’ve always had problems with my hair falling out. I use nioxin shampoo, biotin every other day, and RevivSerum. I finally feel like I’m making progress. Nioxin helped tremendously with fall out but it smells like medicine. Lol

  3. I entered the giveaway. Crossing my fingers! My hair is so much thinner now than it was like 10 or 15 years ago. I have extensions, which are great but not practical for long term. I can’t spend thousands every 4-5 months to have a lot of hair. It would be nice though! I need a money tree.

    1. I did not know you had extensions. Your hair always looks amazing. 😍 I just went for an extension consult and they said my hair was so thin that it would get matted quickly so I would have to get them moved up every 3 weeks. That’s just too much work/money for me plus the risk of loosing more hair. I hope you win!! My fingers are crossed too!
