Valentia Royal Rose Hydration Serum Review

Valentia is a brand that I have come to trust in delivering natural ingredients with an organic base. I currently use their True Glow Eye Cream and have positive results and many compliments. When the opportunity came to try their newest facial serum, I was excited to say the least. Royal Rose Hydrating Serum has the perfect name now let’s see if it has the perfect ingredients….

Valentia, named after the Greek Goddess of healing, takes pride in producing skin products with natural ingredients that target skin repair and damage prevention. My main interest is in prevention, although I have occasional break-outs here and there. I am always on the hunt for a nice hydrating serum. Royal Rose Hydration Serum initially caught my attention because of the buzz surrounding rose as an ingredient in the beauty industry. Rose is very popular right now and being used in nail, hair, and skin products, I wanted to know if the hype was real. Valentia’s products are also made in a lab owned and operated by women which is empowering and inspiring.

Valencia states Royal Rose Hydrating Serum will deeply moisturize skin, provide antioxidant protection, soothe & nourish dry skin, smooth skin tone & texture, and boost skin radiance. Now, that is a lot of claims to make!

Let’s look at the key ingredients in Royal Rose Hydrating Serum:

Rose Damascena: One of the most nourishing and skin friendly natural oils, providing balance, moisture, and a variety of vitamins and minerals to the skin.

Niacinamide (Vitamin B): This potent vitamin has been clinically proven to fade away hyperpigmentation, sun spots, and acne..

Rosehip Seed Oil: Naturally rich in Vitamins C & A, these essential fatty acids work quickly to lock in skin’s moisture.

Evening Primrose Oil: Provides light, non-oily moisture to the skin, never clogging or irritating the skin.

Bearberry: Reduces melanin production, thereby lightening the skin, revealing a brighter complexion.

Lavender: Heals the skin, treating pimples, wounds, and sores.

My Experience:

When I opened the simple but elegant white and gold box, the first thing I noticed (as with their eye cream) was the product was in a tightly closed and light-protected glass bottle containing 1.18 ounces. A good serum will always be packaged to protect ingredients like Vitamin C from air and sunlight. That was the first good sign. The pump type applicator makes it easy to dispense the right amount. The directions state to use 1-2 pumps at night, apply evenly to face/neck, and follow-up with a moisturizer & eye cream after absorption. The product itself is more on the creamy side and is my favorite type of serum. I prefer a serum to be creamy rather than a gel or water based. I find that the creamier the less sticky or tacky it is. The scent is not overpowering at, it’s clean with a hint of rose and I found it to be refreshing. It applies easily, glides smoothly, and absorb into the skin quickly. My skin just drinks this right up with no tacky residue. I follow-up with my regular moisturizer and eye cream. It’s been about 2 weeks and my skin is noticeably supple, soft, and brighter. I expected this to be moisturizing but the amount of brightness took me by surprise (I suspect it’s the Bearberry). Royal Rose has brought life back to my face, in fact Several people have asked what I am using. That is always a good indicator that a product is living up to its claims. Oh and I failed to mention that it has a lifetime guarantee, so if you don’t like it (but you will) you can return it!

Bottom Line:

I highly recommend Royal Rose Hydrating Serum if you want softer & brighter skin with fast results. I will continue to use mine and re-purchase when I run out. This is truly the first serum (and I have tried many) that had such quick results. Typically I give serums a month to work but I actually wrote this review sooner because I had such a positive experience. This is easily a 5 star product!
